9 Lives

This is Frankie.  He is one on my cats here at Bad Cat Portraits.  Frankie loves having his picture taken.  I think he knows what's going on when I take out the camera to get a picture of him.  He will sit there all nice and handsome.  Here he is in another cat portrait of him.  It's called 9 Lives.  Yes, that's a cat skull on Frankie's head. I have always enjoyed drawing skulls and so I thought of drawing a cat skull.   This is what I came up with, enjoy!

Leo mural starts...

The Leo mural has started.  I'm working on prepared "parachute cloth" which is the canvas for the mural.  I've busted out the charcoal pencils for this and have started at the eyes as always.  Stayed tuned for more updates....

...Also, the Leo mural will be in a group art show sometime soon.  It will be in group show with other mural artist.  We are all are taking a class in mural arts in the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program.  Location and date soon to come when I know more on that.

This is the art for my mural I'm making.   This cat portrait of Leo is 15" x 15".  The mural will be 5' x 5'.  Leo,  Bad Cat Portraits studio cat, is showing his love for music, Philly, and bicycles.   I will show some updates as it continues to be made.
