Drawing can be tricky.

Frankie came by to say hi or get rubs or just lay down on my drawing pad.  He can make drawing tricky sometimes.

Sketching out Icarus.

Up next on the drawing table is Icarus!  I met Icarus this summer on a weekend camping trip on a farm,  the  M & M Creek Valley Farm. This place is great by the way. I have begun sketching out Icarus and will be adding a little farm creature since that's where Icarus lives.  Stay tuned...

I've finally finished Frankie the jester.  There were many delays on this cat portrait with other portraits and many bike rides.  I still have more things to do with this cat portrait project though.  Stay tuned...

Late night art work...

I'm doing some late night art work here in the studio.  I'm laying down the black outline to "Frankie the jester" with a little help of Yards brew, Cape of Good Hope. Stay tuned for the finished piece!

Claypool on the wall!

Here is a picture i received of Claypool framed and hung on the wall!  It's great to see photos of the portraits I draw framed and hung.  It's also really great to hear the feedback of the portraits.  This is the comment given on Claypool, "you really did him justice! The instant I saw him I burst into joyful tears. I can't thank you enough!"  Reading and hearing these comments makes drawing portraits even more gratifying.  It is a real joy to make people happy through my art.
